Referee buzzer flags are an ideal tool for referees in conjunction with his assistant referees. At refgear.eu, we therefore understand the importance of good beep flags. A beep flag system is an electronic communication system that communicates via radio from assistant referees to the referee and is designed to improve cooperation between assistant referees and referees. Thanks to the beep and vibrate, an assistant referee can give advice to the referee and notify the referee when a flag is blown.
Ervocom beep flags
Number one in the field of pager flags are the Referee Paging Systems, RPS2156, developed by Ervocom. RPS2156 provides a data link between flag and pager via radio communication. This uses a two-way communication method. This means that once the message is received by the pager, the referee receives immediate confirmation by means of a beep and a vibration. This ensures the best possible technical reliability and performance during football matches.
As each flag now has its own and unique ID, different flags and pagers can be configured within one system. The previously used different colour codes are no longer needed. Using the programming mode, new and additional flags can be assigned to a pager. The maximum number of flags is ten.
Volume and tone adjustments can now be configured directly on the flag. This has two advantages: First, you no longer need to open the pager for configuration. Second, each flag can now be configured individually. This makes it easy, for example, to set one flag at a high volume level and another flag at a lower volume.
